- How did you get into old cars/trucks?
growing up my Dad and older brothers had low riders and customs. I always thought older vehicles had more style and looked sexier and had a better profile then any modern car. Holding the steering wheel of a classic car is like holding a good American made tool, it just feels right in your hand.
- What was the first Chevy bomb vehicle you owned?
1954 Chevy sedan. Saved up for 2 years to buy it. The clutch linkage broke on the way home, I didn’t care. I was hooked.
- Which Chevy Bomb is your all time favorite?
‘48 fleetline. I’ll have one someday.
- What have you gotten out of ChevyBombs.com?
ChevyBomb members have helped me diagnose problems with my motor and transmission. Members have helped me locate parts and sell parts. We have exchanged stories about driving our cars and the good times working on our cars too.
- As a ChevyBombs.com Veterano, is there anything you would like to share to the world?
Our old cars are a way of life. We love simple, classic, timeless design. In our cars we don’t care about GPS, bluetooth and ABS brakes. We want to see style, chrome and the smooth lines of a classic car reflecting in the store windows along the boulevards we drive. Don’t ask me about gas milage, ask me how many people smile at me as I drive by. Don’t ask how much it cost, ask me how much joy I get driving my classic car. Don’t ask me where I am going, ask yourself why are you going so fast? I am going to love my drive, even if it’s only to the panaria for some bolio.
