Being surrounded by beautifully restored bombs at car shows is the pinnacle of ChevyBombs.com’s mission statement: to showcase as many of this cars & trucks to the world. There has been one particular vehicle this year that has caught our eye (and lens):
Toro’s 1939 Chevrolet Master Deluxe from the Old Memories San Gabriel Valley Car Club.
ChevyBombs.com would like to present the 2013 Chevy Bomb of the Year.
This bomb lays on 15” artillery rims wrapped with 5.60 Firestone tires which is lifted off the ground via
sedan down the boulevard with ease. A 1957 GM 235cui engine provides the motivation under the hood. The ’39 was restored by “Pelon” (CB member Chicano Oldies) with assistance by the talented Tutu to make this ’39 showcase on the California streets. It was purchased from the city of San Pedro and it sports the original mohair interior. Accessories adorn the exterior and interior which was provided by Mike Ramos and Tutu. The glassy paint job was performed at the home of Manuel from the Inland Empire which we found to be a unique color. Be on the lookout for this beautiful Master Deluxe cruising the boulevard!
