While I focused my efforts on the frame and everything else, the
body sat on a wooden frame exposed to the elements. I knew having a mobile body cart was next on the agenda. Of course, I needed to make it myself! Why not? Shouldn’t be too hard. Since I was going to have both the frame and body inside the garage, I figured I make the body cart hold the body high enough to store the frame under. I used steel squared tubing and slotted holes to make it universal for all different cars. I bought the casters from Cal Aero Supply in Paramount, CA (www.calaerosupply.com). I welded up the rest of the components and it worked just fine. Despite all this, it was still easier to have two people wheel the body around.
